Andrea has two decades worth of experience in senior leadership positions across the telco sector , working in strategy development , network delivery , business transformation and postmerger consolidation . Through these roles , he ’ s become an expert in full turn-key managed service contracts , offshoring and outsourcing .

Now at Vodafone , he started his time at the company as the Network Director , in 2021 . Andrea led the roll-out of Vodafone ’ s 5G and fibre networks , as well as its converged network strategy and its network transformation .

Previously , he earned a B . A . in Aerospace , Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and also studied at Università degli Studi di Padova , where he learned about Telecommunication Engineering . He joined the Italian Chartered Institute of Telecommunication Engineers , in 1999 .

Andrea led the Vodafone UK mobile and fixed networks strategy execution , including the rollout of its 4G & 5G network and Fibre-to-the-Premise programme ( FTTP ).
